A Breath of Life is a fanwork exchange designed to revitalize old fandom communities. Here's how the mods describe it:

Do you ever get the urge to go read a fic from that fandom that started you in fic (For me it was sailor moon) For most of us, those fandoms aren’t producing fanworks anymore and that is sad. Maybe you found some good fanfics in the fandom, but they don’t have the tropes you want, or aren’t discussing issues you want to see discussed? Well we are here to help! Introducing the A Breath of Life Fandom Exchange where we aim to breathe new life into dead fandoms!

The schedule is:

Sign-ups run from September 15th - October 15th
Deadline for notification of drop out is December 15th
Gifts are due February 15th 2018
Reveals are February 24th
